Dashain got its name from the victory of lord Ram over demon Ravan after the fight od ten days.
In another myth, people celebrates this festival in the joy of goddess Durga's victory over the demon Mahisasur.
People buy new clothes, decorate their houses and celebrates with joy and happiness.
