Political Events after Sugauli Sandhi

Things to remember

• Sughauli Sandhi was the agreement to end the war between Nepal and East India Company.
• Nepal has to lose her almost half of her territory due to sugauli treaty done between Nepal and East India Company held on December 2, 1815 AD.
• When Rana Jung Pandey became the prime minister of Nepal for the second time in 1897 BS, some soldiers who did not get their salary for 2 years became enthusiastic and got assembled in Tudhikhel and also circumscribed around the British Residency. 
• After the downfall of Bhimsen Thapa, Rana Jung Pandey became the prime minister of Nepal.
