Functional Method

Assign certain functions to the entire ward. For example, prescriptions, vitals, rounds, and so forth.

  • Fewer interruptions equal confusion.

Team Method

It is a novel assignment concept. A trained nurse leads the entire team. A regular conference is being planned.

Advantages:

  • More personalized care.
  • A staff member's best work experience.
  • A unit can run smoothly.

Modular Nursing

The combination of primary and team nursing is often known as professional + auxiliary nursing.

Progressive Patient Care

Care is provided at various levels:

  • Critical care unit for the critically ill.
  • The moderate patient in the post-intensive care unit.
  • Standard care unit
  • Rehabilitation facility
  • Self-care section (holiday home especially for psychiatric patients)
